Application-sorptional method occupies an important place in the range of practical methods of a human organism clearing from exogenic microorganisms. One way to increase efficacy of sorptional materials (carbonic, silica-containing, organosilica) is to modify them by ions of metals with bactericidal properties.
Using the method of mathematical planning of an experiment, the optimal conditions of modifying two-component organosilica of various composition by metal ions (copper, zinc) from water-ammonia solutions have been found. Modified forms of silicopolymethylsiloxanes, containing 0,5-25,0 mg/g of copper(II) and 3,8-40,0 mg/g of zinc(II) were synthesized and their structural and sorptional characteristics were established. Sorptive capacity of organosilica sorbents and their modified forms towards pathogenic microflora (E.coli, S.aureus, Ps.aeruginosa) depending on the modified component concentration, pH of medium and sorptional composition has been evaluated.
It was found that the level of microorganisms sorption is increased in the following sorbent range : OS-30 (Al)
